Upon Closer Inspection

I just recently blogged about the evolution of our powder room from a blue wallpapered disaster to a pleasant and simple room (see here for the full post).  Well, my mom (and #1 fan!) was curious about the little tiny print in between the towel bar shelves.  I mentioned I picked it up at an estate sale for $2 and she wanted a clearer pic.  Well, ask & thy shall receive.  Below are a couple new pics of the bathroom (it is soooo hard to photograph in a teeny tiny space with no windows, so I tried again) plus a close up of the $2 print and the two prints my mom made.

I certainly love anything silhouette-y

Beautiful! I'm so glad you gave us a close-up. Don't you love having art created by family members? Most of my black and white art is my daughter's photography. The more I find out about your mom, the more I think she and I hav a lot in common. Similar taste in decor…and very talented daughters.

Awww. Dana, you're too sweet. I think the secret ingredient for talented daughters is talented, amazing and supportive mothers!!!
