Chrismas Spiders Available for Sale Again!

Yay, my handmade Christmas spiders have sold online!  Whew.  But what I didn't realize was that when one spider sells from a listing with the option to choose from five different spiders, the entire listing disappears - not just the sold spider.  There is still so much to learn about Etsy!  If you clicked over to my Etsy shop to buy one, only to see the "sorry, this listing is sold," my apologies!

I've got three fresh sets of spider listings up - including some you didn't see last time.

Unfortunately, I discovered that Canadian shipping - even a packet - is astronomical.  I shipped a spider for $13 when I had only charged $5 for shipping (oops), so I'm not sure any Canadian friends will be buying any more.  (But they ship free with another purchase - even another spider!).  Happily, shipping in the U.S. is what I expected it to be (a bargain, comparatively!) and with handy dandy priority ship (1-3 business days), there's still plenty of time to get one before Christmas!  Take a peek at my new listings if you missed out the first time around, and be sure to let me know if you're on the hunt for a certain colour combo and I can let you know what else I have.

Thanks to everyone who has purchased something from my Etsy shop - especially my handmade Christmas spiders!  Next year I know I need to get them listed earlier - and list MORE.  But I'm feeling encouraged, so I'll be adding more handmade goodies to the shop in the new year...fun, fun!

P.S. If you're new and wondering what the heck a Christmas spider is, check out this post for the sweet story about why every tree needs a spider (and there's a DIY tutorial there too, if you're so inclined).

    1. Thank you! Do you want to hear something funny? It costs $13 to mail one to a city in my province, but only $10 to mail one to you in Greece!! There is a slightly cheaper method ($8) but it will take weeks, possibly months. But for $10 shipping (International Air) I can get it there in 4-7 business days - although Canada Post cannot guarantee this. It might be tight to get it there before Christmas.

P.S. I went to Greece on my Honeymoon and loved it so much! It was Christmastime, actually, so no swimming, but the people (and food!) and the sights were just incredible. I hope to visit again during a warmer month.

    1. You are my best customer, thank you so much!! It makes me so happy that you like these. I'm headed Stateside to mail them in the next couple of days and with priority ship, they will arrive with plenty of time before Christmas.

  4. I didn't know it was possible to make me comfortable with spiders but these seem to have done the trick (sort of haha). Great work. They look beautiful! (Arachnophobe or not)

    1. Thank you! It's a high compliment to hear it from someone who hates the real life version of these guys!

  5. So happy for you that these have been selling well :) Definitely going to have to make myself one. With prices like that to ship in Canada, I hate to think what it would cost to get one to New Zealand haha.

    1. The HILARIOUS thing is that it's cheaper to mail them internationally than within the province! I checked, just for fun, and it's $8 for International Surface (4-6 weeks, though) and $11 for International Air (which is 4-7 business days). I can fit 2-3 in a box, just FYI. But, I put the tutorial out there knowing shipping would be a bummer so I always encourage that option (I'm a terrible capitalist, lol).
