I am so appreciative when anyone features the blog, townhouse or my DIY projects, so I think it’s important to stop, say a huge “Thank You,” and give the blog love back. I have three fabulous announcements that will keep me beaming all weekend long:
My Simple but Striking DIY abstract was featured on Brooklyn Limestone today, as an idea to steal! Click here to see the “Idea to Steal” feature. It is such a huge honor to be included in this fabulous series, on one of the first blogs I ever read (and fell in love with). I think anyone who reads blogs lists Brooklyn Limestone as a favorite, so you can understand how giddy I am feeling right now.
The same art project was also featured on a new daily read, Hello Lovely. Sarah is the awesome blogger who helped me track down the source of the photo that served as inspiration for my painting. She is a super-sleuth and catalogs gorgeous inspiration, daily.
For anyone new to the blog, welcome! I’m so happy you stopped by. If you’re curious, here is the link to the simple DIY art project that was featured (and click here to see how my Hubby & I made a cheap frame for it, too). I invite you to check out my DIY Projects Page, for more simple and fun art projects, and Tour the Townhouse if you have the time.
But that’s not all my good news! Tonya Lee, from About.com, featured Dans le Townhouse as part of her Budget Decorating Blog Feature series! Click here to see the feature. Actually, check out everything she has written because Tonya lists amazing resources and catalogs inspiring ideas for budget decorating. I’m flattered she thinks so highly of my projects and my own budget decorating efforts. Although maybe I should lock my doors?
I’m so excited to add these three blush-worthy features to my Press Page. Happy Weekend!
